The Naval Supply Systems Command is headquartered at Mechanicsburg, PA, in South Central Pennsylvania across the Susquehanna River from the state capital, Harrisburg.
From Interstate 81 take the PA 581 East/Camp Hill exit. You will use this road if coming from Maryland, New York and New England. Once you are on PA 581 take the Carlisle Pike Exit (Exit 3) and go straight at the traffic light. The Main Gate to the base is straight ahead.
From Interstate 83 coming from Baltimore, take the PA 581 West exit. Once you are on PA 581 take the Carlisle Pike Exit (Exit 3) and go straight at the traffic light. The Main Gate to the base is straight ahead.
From Interstate 76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take the Harrisburg West exit, Exit 242. Go north on I 83 toward Harrisburg, following signs for PA 581 West and Camp Hill. Once you are on PA 581 take the Carlisle Pike Exit (Exit 3) and go straight at the traffic light. The Main Gate to the base is straight ahead.
From U.S. 15 from Gettysburg take the PA 581 West exit. Once you are on PA 581 take the Carlisle Pike Exit (Exit 3) and go straight at the traffic light. The Main Gate to the base is straight ahead.
From Harrisburg International Airport follow RT 283 from the airport (follow signs toward Harrisburg). Take Route 83 South following signs for Harrisburg then York, PA. You will pass the city of Harrisburg and cross the Susquehanna River. At the 83S/York split, stay in the left lanes and follow signs for PA 581. Take the Carlisle Pike exit (Exit 3). Go straight at the traffic light. The Main Gate to the base is straight ahead.
The Main Gate is open 24 hours a day.
