ASSISTANT COMMANDER for Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) Support
Vacant
Concept of Operations
The Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) is a warfighting partnership to resolve interdependent issues affecting multiple commands on an Enterprisewide basis. It enables communication across all elements of the Enterprise, fosters organizational alignment, encourages interagency and interservice integration, stimulates a culture of productivity, and facilitates change when needed to advance and improve. Key elements of the NAE include a single process ownership construct and a cost-wise readiness culture featuring improved materiel management, more balanced logistics support, and higher availability through faster turn-around times. The NAE is comprised of two cross-functional teams (CFTs): Current Readiness (CR) and Future Readiness (FR). Within the CR CFT, the supply enterprise directly supports two sub-groups: Maintenance and Supply Chain Management (M&SCM) for aviation and the Carrier Readiness Team (CRT) for ship-related matters.
