Chief of Staff/Vice President, Corporate Operations (00A)
Mission: Principle advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, providing coordination and oversight of NEXCOM Enterprise issues. Coordinate development, implementation and maintenance of corporate strategies, strategic plan, programs, policies and goals for the NEXCOM Enterprise. Coordinate cooperative efforts with all external activities. Act as primary interface between the NEXCOM Enterprise, Board of Directors, Department of the Navy, Department of Defense, and Morale Welfare Recreation System.

Washington Liaison Office (WO)
Mission: As Director of the Navy Exchange Service Command, Washington Office, is responsible for representing the Commander of the Naval Supply Systems Command and Navy Exchange Service Command. Primarily functions as liaison for matters involving both Commands with the Department of the Navy, Department of Defense, other federal agencies, Congress and the private sector.

Office of Counsel (OC)
Mission: The Office of Counsel provides legal advice and representation to NEXCOM on issues of contract law, personnel law, ethics and standards of conduct, litigation and litigation support, and FOIA and Privacy Act issues. Our focus is preventive law, which includes review of new business initiatives, review of contract decisions, review of policy and procedure changes, and review of personnel decisions prior to their implementation. The legal service provided by OC attorneys is timely and responsive to client needs, enabling clients to exercise the full range of discretion available under the law.

Director of Public Affairs / PAO
Mission: The Public Affairs Office conducts the command public affairs program and has responsibility for planning, developing and communicating NEXCOM's programs, policies and activities in accordance with public affairs guidelines established by the Navy's Chief of Information. The Director of Public Affairs serves as the senior communications advisor to NEXCOM leadership.
The office's primary responsibility is internal and external communication through a number of publications, including NEXCOM's "Global Exchange" associate newsletter; annual report; NEX Guide; command history, speeches, press releases and protocol VIP/DV visit requirements.
The NEXCOM PAO office functions as the command's release authority for all press releases and command liaison between various media, including trade, regional and national media. The office also keeps an archive of photos on the NEXCOM Enterprise.
