November/December 2011. September/October 2011. As Rear Adm. Patricia E. Wolfe states in her column, there is no “haze gray for the expeditionary Supply Officer … instead, substitute camouflage green and brown, combat boots, tent camps and small boats.” In this edition of the Newsletter, we focus on maritime expeditionary logistics, truly important in the many operations and missions we have before us today to protect and defend our nation. March/April 2011. The Navy Exchange Service Command just celebrated its 65th Anniversary this past April; 65 years of providing support to our Sailors, and their families, around the world. As Commander, Navy Exchange Service Command, Rear Adm. (Sel) Glenn Robillard explained, “The Navy Exchange System has changed over the years, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is our mission to service our military service members and their families.” Also in this edition, once again, our Navy is providing life-saving assistance to Japan with Operation TOMODACHI, four Culinary Specialists competed in the 9th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival, Ney Award winners, and much more.
