About FLC Sigonella

About

Established in March 2005, Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center (NAVSUP FLC) Sigonella is located on Naval Air Station Sigonella (NASSIG), Sicily, Italy. It is the seventh of NAVSUP's eight globally-positioned logistics centers that provides for the full range of the fleet's military operations.

Mission

The mission of NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) supported by NR NAVSUP FLC Sigonella is to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and provide logistic support to U.S. Naval, Joint, and allied forces operating in peace, crisis, and wartime within the EUCOM and AFRICOM areas of responsibility. NAVSUP FLCSI is part of the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), and as such is also aligned with their mission “To Deliver Sustained Global Logistics and Quality of Life Support to the Navy and Joint Warfighter.”

Vision

A proactive, adaptive, integrated, and innovative Fleet Logistics Command providing center of excellence support with timely and focused logistics to enable the warfighter to protect national interests in the EUCOM and AFRICOM theaters. NAVSUP FLCSI is aligned with NAVSUP’s vision to be “the Navy’s Primary Agent for Effective, Efficient Naval Logistics and Quality of Life Support, and the Bridge to Our Naval Support Network Partners” and takes the responsibility to “leverage our relationships with provider, joint, coalition, and industry logistics partners.” While recognizing that we do not “own” the end-to-end network, we work closely and tirelessly with our “networked partners” to ensure Navy, Joint, and Coalition requirements are met whenever and wherever the need arises.

Priorities

Following NAVSUP’s strategic direction, NAVSUP FLCSI’s goal is to improve the way we’re accelerating warfighter readiness via processes that are auditable, yet fast and flexible. To be a seamless provider that is agile, resilient, and responsive. To implement steps to operate effectively, efficiently, and with moral excellence.
