Part of the shipping process includes clearing US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). Your PII is included in the manifest developed by CBP. If you never created an account in DPS (Defense Personal Property System) you will need to register at https://dps.move.mil/cust/standard/user/home.xhtml to start the process. If it has been more than 120 days since you logged into DPS, for any technical issues (CAC certificates, account locked, etc) you will NEED to work with DPS System Response Center at: (833) 645-6683 (833-MIL-MOVE) (24/7) option 2/ usarmy.scott.sddc.mbx.G6-SRC-DPS-HD@army.mil
How you submit your Personally Procured Move (PPM) documentation depends on when your move was approved.
If your PPM was started on or after May 15, 2026: Per the latest TRANSCOM/PPA guidance, you must upload your PPM documentation directly into your Defense Personal Property System (DPS) shipment. Please log into DPS and upload all required documents, including your signed DD Form 1351-2, DD Form 2278, weight tickets, receipts, rental agreement, EFT information, and any other required supporting documentation. Once your documents have been uploaded, submit your PPM for closeout through DPS.
If your PPM was approved before May 15, 2026: Please email audit- hhgaudit.ppmclaims@us.navy.mil
Let audit team know that your move was approved prior to May 15, 2026. They will provide you with a DoD SAFE link so you can securely submit your required documentation to their office.
If you are unsure of your PPM approval date or have any questions regarding the submission process, please let audit team know and they will be happy to assist you.
