Naval Supply Systems Command, Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) will host an Aviation Readiness Improvement Day for current and prospective vendors on Monday, May 15th, 2017 at Naval Support Activity Philadelphia from 7:30am to 3:00pm (EST).
The intent of Readiness Improvement Day is to expand our qualified vendor base to provide best in class solutions to solve our most challenging material and supply chain readiness inhibitors. NAVSUP WSS has expanded its authority to attack the readiness degraders of today and tomorrow. We intend to strengthen our industry partnerships to execute rapid solutions, ensuring the Navy’s supply strategy is a winning strategy.
During this event, vendors will have the opportunity to gain insights into current and future challenges, hear from NAVSUP WSS leadership, pose questions, and meet with representatives across the engineering and operations departments. Prospective vendors will meet the Source Development team, and receive information on the source approval process and other requirements necessary to conduct business with the Navy.
