Commanding Officer, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor

Captain Sean M. Andrews was born in Tallahassee, Florida and was commissioned as a Naval Supply Corps Officer in 1998, after graduating from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He also earned a Master of Science degree from The Graduate School of Operational & Information Sciences, Naval Postgraduate School in 2010.

His shore assignments include Military Sealift Command Office Diego Garcia, where he served as the executive and supply officer; Commander, Strike Fighter Wing Pacific, where he served as component control officer; Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae, where he served as the supply officer; Commander, Task Force Five Three, where he served as the assistant requirements officer; Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, 597th Transportation Brigade, where he served as chief of operations; Military Sealift Command Atlantic serving as combat logistics force officer, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Pearl Harbor, where he served as commanding officer, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, where he served as executive officer; Commander, Task Force Five Three, where he served as deputy commodore, and Commander, U.S Naval Forces Europe & Africa/Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet, where he served as the force logistics director (N41) and fleet logistics director (N4).

Andrews’ sea assignments include stock control officer and principal assistant for services, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) and aviation stores officer aboard USS Tarawa (LHA 1).

His personal decorations include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, four Meritorious Service Medals, and other various awards and unit commendations. He is also designated as a Naval Aviation Supply Officer, Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer and Joint Qualified Officer.

Commander Eric J. Newsome

Executive Officer, Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor

Commander Eric Newsome is a native of Columbia, Mississippi and 2002 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He holds a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and is a graduate of the Maritime Advanced Warfighting School.

In 2002, CDR Newsome enlisted in the Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman and served at Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Squadron FIVE (VP-5) until his commissioning from Officer Candidate School in 2005.

His operational assignments include Disbursing and Sales Officer, USS John L. Hall (FFG 32); Logistics and Stock Control Officer, Coastal Riverine Group TWO; and Principal Assistant for Logistics and Assistant Supply Officer, USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). He also deployed on a Global Support Assignment at United States Forces-Afghanistan headquarters where he served as J8 Budget Officer for Special Programs.

His shore and staff assignments include Material Control Officer, Air Test and Evaluation Squadron ONE (VX-1); Product Manager for Naval Logistics Integration, Navy Exchange Service Command; Joint Logistics Operations Center Chief and Deputy Chief of Plans, United States Africa Command; and Naval Industrial Support Branch Chief, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation.

CDR Newsome reported to NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor in May 2024 where he currently serves as Executive Officer.

He is a Level III Joint Qualified Officer and a member of the Navy Acquisition Professional Community.

Personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal, and various campaign and unit awards. He is qualified as Naval Expeditionary Supply Corps Officer, Naval Aviation Supply Officer, and Surface Warfare Supply Officer.

Mr. Larry Larkin

Executive Director, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor

Mr. Larry Larnell Larkin is a Detroit, Michigan native with an extensive educational background. He holds an Associate of General Studies degree from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College, an International Legal Studies Certificate from Temple Law School Japan, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Abraham Lincoln University. Additionally, he has completed the NAVSEA Emerging Leaders course, NAVSEA’s One Nuclear Naval Shipyard Senior Leader course and is licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Throughout his distinguished naval career, Mr. Larkin served aboard the USS Midway CV-41 and attended the U.S. Navy’s Brig and Correctional Custody staff course in Anniston, Alabama. He then reported to Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s Brig and Correctional Custody Unit as a staff member, later serving with HELANTISUBRON TWELVE (HS12), USS Midway, and USS Independence CV-62. He contributed to the Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, USS Boxer LHD-4, and USS Kitty Hawk CV-63’s Aviation Support Division. Mr. Larkin achieved the rank of Master Chief and retired from the U.S. Navy in December 2006.

Following his military service, Mr. Larkin continued his career in the federal civilian sector with roles at the Ship Repair Facility and Regional Maintenance Center in Yokosuka, Japan, NAVSUP FLC Yokosuka, DLA Maritime Pearl Harbor, and the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) prior to being named Executive Director, NAVSUP FLC Pearl Harbor.
